Superspeciality Hospitals at Darbhanga & Muzaffapur, Bihar

Superspeciality Hospitals at Darbhanga & Muzaffarpur, Aswini Kumar choubey the union minister for health and welfare on Thursday directed to complete the construction of Superspeciality block at Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital by June end and dedicate these health facilities to common people by July.

The union minister also directed to begin OPD Services in both the Superspeciality blocks soon. He also reviewed the work related to the Upcoming AIMS at Darbhanga. It will have 750 beds and Rs. 1,361 crore is likely to be incurred on its construction.

It will be the second AIMS in Bihar and the central government has approved the construction site in January this year. The former Union finance minister Late Mr. Arun Jaithley announced in his 2015-2016 budget speech.

A meeting held in New Delhi, where Darbhanga MP Gopal thakur and officials Construction Company was also present. It was been decided to request Mr. Narendra Modi to inaugurate the Superspeciality hospitals.

The health minister also asked the officials to report the daily progress of the work. This work was going on with the co-ordination of the Centre and state government.

Apart of opening AIMS in Bihar several medical colleges and primary health centers have also got increased.  PHC and PH are going to be converted into health and wellness hospitals. There will be laboratories in all the blocks.
