Formerly, the Bhagalpur district authority in Bihar has made it obligatory for people to wear masks with prompt effect in view to control the spread of the pandemic disease amongst people.

In lieu of this action the other districts of the state including the state capital Patna are considering to make it compulsory to wear mask.

Keeping the security factor in mind Bhagalpur district deputy inspector general(DIG) of police Sujeet Kumar said that wearing mask is a compulsion for the residents.

And looking at the condition even other districts of Bhagalpur have decided to consider and follow the decision.

Even Patna Petroleum Dealers Association have decided not to give fuel to those who come without wearing mask. so, want Petrol wear mask.

6 districts including muzaffarpur have also prohibited spitting at public places. In lieu of the prevailing of Coronavirus Outbreak and has declared it as a punishable offence.

Sources have also confirm that apart from Want Petrol wear mask the use of cigarettes, khaini and other tobacco products have also been prohibited at namely these six districts Muzaffarpur, Munger, Khagaria, Purnia, Begusarai and Jehanabad.

In the orders issued by the DMs of these districts one can be levied with a fine of rupees 200 to 2000 and can even be jailed for six months for using the above mentioned products as well as for spitting the public places.

Kumar Ravi (DM) Patna also told the media that even the administration here is considering to punish those who are caught spitting.
