Ivanka Trump Praises Bihar Girl Jyoti Kumari Who Cycled 1200 km

There was a news that Ivanka Trump praises Bihar girl. A 15 year old girl Jyoti Kumari took her injured father to their home Darbhanga about 1200 km from Gurugram on a bicycle. This incident took place amid lockdown. This gesture has impressed the US President Donald Trump and his secretary cum adviser Ivanka Trump.

Ivanka Trump on Friday shared the news on twitter pressingly. She said this was a beautiful feat of endurance and love was captured the imagination of the Indian people and cycling federation. She twitted that it was a commendable action of the girl to carry her wounded father on bicycle to their home on the back covering 1200 km over 7 days.

By seeing the response from Ivanka Trump the Chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah said it was the poverty and desperation are been glorified. The government had a failure to provide recourses to the poor people.

Jyoti and her father Mohan paswan lived in Gurugram. Mohan paswan had an accident during the lockdown, leaving him unable to go home. On may 10th Jyoti left along with her father from Gurugram on a cycle for Darbhanga. She arrived on may 16th.

Jyoti Kumari bravely pedaled the way to Bihar from Gurugram carrying her ailing father the Cycling federation of India (CFI) will invite Jyoti Kumari to appear for trial this could be life changing opportunities.

Mr. paswan an autorikshaw driver in Gurgoan got injured and lockdown left him without any source of income. He had to return the autorikshaw to the owner. Jyoti with her father starting their journeys from Gurgoan on May, 10th after buying a bicycle with whatever money they had. They reached Darbhanga on 16th may.
