Domestic flights to resume in India from Monday: Read New Rules
Domestic flights will be starting to fly in the skies from this coming Monday (25th may) in a gradual manner. Domestic flights were stopped for exactly two months after being stopped as a part of national lockdown. Due to the spread of corona virus the lockdown was imposed to check the growth of corona virus.
Domestic flights to resume in India and Booking will be staring from Thursday. But schedule international flights will be stopped. For this standard operating procedures for passenger movement are also being separated by the aviation ministry. Domestic civil aviation operations will recommence in a cal liberated manner.
It has been decided that middle seats are unlikely to be kept vacant on flights to keep fares affordable. There should not be abrupt hike in spot fares. Flight resumption will be starting with one third of the originally approved summer schedule of 24,409 weekly domestic flights taking of the skies again.
Passengers will be asked to report at two hours before flight time as due to social distancing will also have to be observed. The thermal screening will be done at both departure and arrivals. For boarding the flights downloading the arogya setu app is mandatory. Passengers have to wear mask while travelling.
Passengers will be allowed to carry 350 ml liquid hand sanitizer on board aircraft. They will have to sanitize hands frequently. There is also requirement of CISF stamping boarding cards has been done away with.

Boarding will be done to avoid overcrowding by asking people in rear rows to board first and disembarking will be done so that people don’t cross each other during the process.
In flight service will be curtailed, with no onboard sales on low cost airlines and only packed meals will be given by full service airlines. Crew will be wear masks and gloves. They will also wear personal protection suits. Airlines and airports will be taking all precautions against corona virus.
Spice jet will be providing highest level of cleanliness and safe, secure and healthy flying experience to its passengers and staff. They will be strictly adhering to social distancing norms and standard operating procedure.
