Bihar Extends Coronavirus Lockdown Till June 30: Latest updates

Bihar government’s decision comes a day after the Centre extended the lockdown. Bihar government extended its lockdown till June 30^th going by the Center’s guidelines declared yesterday. The centre has announced the fifth phase of lockdown which will continue till June end.

There is also phased plan to open up the economy and public life. The ministry of home affairs, central government has issued guidelines to check the spread of corona virus and extended the lockdown till 30^th June.

After the discussions the state government has decided to implement the Home ministry’s order and its guidelines. There is a dilemma how the state will be proceeding. But on lockdown 4 the centre had announced a number of relaxations, and giving the state governments to take final call on their implementations.

Last week as markets were opened with transport also opened. From 8^th June onwards opening of

malls,
hotels,
restaurants and
places of worship

will be opening. All area will be operating expect the containment zones which have a huge number of corona virus cases.

Fresh guidelines were announced a day before the current phases of lockdown was scheduled to be end. Our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has stressed on the need to exercise more caution as the economy opens up.

He clearly said in such scenario we need to be more alert and careful. We should not be careless against corona virus. We have to follow social distancing and other protocols more sincerely .
